On a personal note ...

50 years ago, two French men came to America to pursue their dream. They started three successful businesses. One of these businesses was a fishing fleet, each ship named after a star whose name begins with A. One of them was the Alferaz. The French men were Antoine G. Vidal and Jean L. Vidal, Anthony's grandfather and father. It is in their tradition of building business that this company is founded. It is named in their honor.
