Alferaz, Inc. names J. Anthony Vidal President and CEO

Baltimore, MD, August 1, 2001. Alferaz, Inc., a provider of executive management consulting and interim executive services to European and Israeli companies establishing operations in North America, today announced the appointment of J. Anthony Vidal to the position of President and CEO.

Mr. Vidal was formerly Chief Operating Officer of InfoVista (Nasdaq: IVTA - Nouveau Marche: 7667), a global provider of software solutions that help network service providers and enterprises achieve better returns on their complex IT infrastructure. Mr. Vidal joined InfoVista in 1998 and led the establishment of North American Operations. Under his leadership, InfoVista Corporation saw triple digit growth for the last three consecutive years and became a dominant player in the Service Level Management market place. Prior to his position at InfoVista, Mr. Vidal was Founder, President and CEO of Performance Engineering International, Corp., a technology firm publishing Process Management Software for the Steel Heat Treating Industry. Mr. Vidal also served as President of SyCom Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Hadron, Inc (Nasdaq: HDRN), and engineering services firm he led through a sustained 4 year 50% growth rate.
